Mr. Tianfu Zhang is now awarded the

“Tea Immortal Life Time Contribution Award” by the World Tea Organization, the highest award the World Tea Organization offer!

World Tea Organization also wishes him a happy 107 years` birthday and recognize him as the greatest tea expert in the world for his effort for building up the modern Chinese Tea industry, including the first tea R&D institute, the first tea machine and the cultivating of Chinese organic tea industry, and the most important, the promotion of the Chinese Tea Culture! And he was wished an even more “Healthy, Harmony, Pure, Nature” year of 108 and appointed the Senior Advisor of the World Tea Organization in recognition for his great contribution to the tea industry and tea culture and education! This award and appointment is read and signed by Prof. Mildred Dresselhaus and Dr. Tea (Xingcai Zhang), the Advisory Board President and President of the World Tea Organization （WTeaO.org）.

1910年8月18日 生于上海

1911年，一家三口迁回故土福州

1916-1922年就读于福州宫巷私立塾本小学

1923-1927年就读于福州格致中学

1928年转学于上海持志中学

1929—1930年 在福建协和大学学习，并毕业

1930—1932年 福建协和大学助教

1934—1935年 赴日本与中国台湾省考察茶业

1935—1939年 福建省立福安农业职业学校校 兼福建省建设厅福安茶叶改良场场长

1940—1942年 福建示范茶厂厂长兼苏皖技艺专科学校副教授

1942—1946年 福建协和大学副教授、教授兼附属高级职业学院校长

1949—1950年 福建省人民政府农业厅崇安茶厂厂长

1950—1952年 中国茶叶公司福建省公司技术科长

1952—1950年 福建省农业厅茶叶改进处、特产处茶叶科科长、副处长、享受教授级待遇

1956—1957年 福建省茶叶学会第一届理事会会长

1980—1981年 退休、因病修养

1982—1989年 福建农业科学院茶叶研究所技术顾问，主持乌龙茶作青工艺与设备研究

1989—至今 福建省茶叶学会名誉会长

2016—至今 世界茶叶组织高级顾问 茶仙茶寿终身成就奖获得者
