Dear Dr Zhang,

I’d be very interested in talking to you about the science of tea.

Nature runs a very successful programme of thematic, journalistic supplements called Outlooks. We look at topics in depth for a scientifically-educated but non-specialist audience.

Here’s an example focused on Rice. I’d like to think we could do something similar on Tea.

These Outlook packages require third-party funding, but we have team responsible for obtaining this.

Perhaps we could find some time for an exploratory discussion? I’m copying M, one of our editors and an unashamed tea aficionado.
