Prof.Yuefei Wang, Advisory Board Member of the World Tea Organization (WTeaO.org), Ph.D. in tea science, Professor, Doctoral tutor, member of the Discipline Review Group of the China State Council, Deputy Dean of Zhejiang University agricultural college, Director of the tea Research Institute of Zhejiang University, Chinese First-class tea appraiser. . Since studying in Tea Science Department of Zhejiang University in September 1986, Prof. Yuefei Wang has been engaged in tea-related teaching, research and development, social services and cultural heritage and so on. He is mainly teaching and researching in tea biochemistry, healthy functions and mechanism of natural products, tea resources comprehensive utilization and related areas, and hosting the national science and technology support projects and the major science and technology projects in Zhejiang Province. He successfully developed more than 30 kinds of tea products, published more than 60 academic papers and more than 10 books, and obtained a number of national invention patents.
He has won the First Prize of Tea Science &Technology Award and Youth Science & Technology Award of China Tea Science Society, the excellent teacher of Chinese tea culture, the excellent guide teacher of tea art contest in national college student, ethics individual of Zhejiang teachers, the third prize of Zhejiang Province Technology Award, the first prize of Zhejiang University Teaching Results. He is also the winner of 2015 Zhejiang University Yongping outstanding teaching contribution Award (1 million yuan).
The course Tea Culture and Tea Health which was lectured by Prof. Wang was selected into the Chinese University video open course, and was awarded to be the national quality video open course, the “my favorite videos in China public class” and the “China boutique general courses of University quality education.” Hits of the video consistently ranked among the highest in the country. In recent years，Wang Yuefei gave more than 300 public lectures about tea culture, tea health and tea technology all over the world, with more than 100,000 direct audience.
